Redwoods houseplant and aroid potting mix is a great peat-free solution and coco coir alternative. This potting mix contains triple ground redwood that comes from sustainably managed forests and is the perfect renewable resource for the eco-conscious plant enthusiast.
This potting mix bag comes in a burlap bag with a tie top, and is meant to be reused or returned to us for a zero waste experience! Each bag is filled with 10 quarts of potting mix which can pot approximately 6 6" pots depending on the size of the root ball.
This potting mix is organic based and 100% peat free.
Ingredients :
Triple ground redwood bark
Douglas fir bark
Perlite # 4 high quality
Earthworm castings (non-hazardous, no added chemicals)
Peppermint essential oil

Redwoods’ optimal-draining formula was formulated to avoid overwatering and root rot – one of the top reasons plants die. This potting mix is also infused with peppermint oil for a refreshing scent. Our organic worm castings include kelp and rock mineral to keep your plants happy.
How to Use
How to Use
When repotting, if potting into a larger pot only size up 1-2" to avoid shocking the plant. Ensure the new pot has drainage holes. Remove plant from old pot, keeping root ball in tact. Fill new pot 1/3 with new potting mix and then place root ball inside new pot. Fill the edges and ensure the plant is steady and not too loose. Cover with soil and youre ready to go!
